Stephen Colbert had some pointed barbs for Roy Moore, the embattled Republican candidate for United States Senator in Alabama, on Tuesday’s episode of The Late Show.

The former chief justice of the Alabama Supreme Court has been engulfed in controversy since being accused of having inappropriate sexual relations with several teenage girls when he was in his 30s, as detailed by a Washington Post exposé published last week. Since then, a fifth woman has said Moore assaulted her when she was 16, and more than a dozen locals told the New Yorker they’d heard over the years that Moore had been banned from his hometown shopping mall for badgering teenage girls.

Colbert seized on the latter story Tuesday. “The only place in the mall the girls were safe was Forever 21,” he quipped. “Because that is way too old for Roy Moore.”

Moments before, Colbert displayed a photo of Moore speaking onstage with his arm outstretched and likened him to a “man demonstrating how tall you must be to date him.”
