Radar exclusively reported days ago that The Big Bang Theory was on its last legs because massive egos, raging jealousy, and ugly backbiting had torn the show apart!  Now, series star Johnny Galecki has publicly admitted they are calling it a day soon.

During an appearance at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena, California on Saturday, Galecki, 42, told reporters that the CBS sitcom would likely end with season 12 in 2019.

As TVLine reported, the actor said, “The only manner in which the cast has discussed wrapping [The Big Bang Theory] has been that we’re all going to be very sad when that day comes. But I think at this point everyone’s very comfortable with 12 seasons being a good time to go home and see our families.”

The sitcom, which also stars Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, and Mayim Bialik, began in 2007. Big Bang is currently in the middle of its 11th season and fading fast in the ratings, as Radar has reported.

Egos are to blame, according to a Radar insider who said, “Many of the cast members have gotten swelled heads, and some of the other actors aren’t happy about it.” Parsons, 44, didn’t look cheery for the holidays as season 11 of the sitcom recently scored its lowest ratings ever.

Radar readers knew days ago that the series will likely end after season 12 as some cast members are itching to get out — despite their million-dollars-an-episode paychecks! Plus, for years, the show has hidden numerous secrets and scandals.

Parsons narrates the successful Big Bang Theory spin-off, Young Sheldon, which will continue on CBS, and he earns an incredible $27.5 million a year.

Another sign that Bang could end with a whimper was Galecki appearing on another sitcom, the nine-episode Roseanne revival on ABC. Galecki has reprised his role as David Healy and told TVLine that negotiations to do the show that first made him famous were “delicate.”

He added, “Big Bang is my home and my family. But I probably wouldn’t have been on Big Bang if it hadn’t been for Roseanne. So there were the politics to be considerate about, but everyone was very supportive.”
