She will represent production companies, showrunners, directors and talent in the nonscripted space.

Rebel Entertainment Partners’ Debra Goldfarb is leaving the agency she co-founded to join Gersh as head of nonscripted television, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. Clients who are expected to follow her include @midnight executive producer Jack Martin, Michael Miller and Indigo Films.

In 2001 Goldfarb and Richard Lawrence founded Rebel, which either packaged or represented content creators for the following series: ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, National Geographic’s The Story of God With Morgan Freeman, Comedy Central’s @midnight, MTV’s Cribs and My Super Sweet Sixteen, Animal Planet’s Pitbulls & Parolees, HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher, VH1’s Mob Wives, Fox’s Brothers (starring and produced by Michael Strahan), Lifetime’s Kim of Queens, TLC’s My 5 Wives and Fox’s The Rebel Billionaire (featuring Sir Richard Branson).

Goldfarb began her career nearly 30 years ago in the William Morris mailroom and rose to agent. After eight years, she moved to CAA and helped launch its alternative reality department, where she represented hosts including Leeza Gibbons, Joan Lunden and Deborah Norville and packaged shows for agency clients including Dan Aykroyd, Jerry Bruckheimer, Nelvana Animation Company and the Gene Roddenberry estate.
