Rising California pop group Why Don’t We closed out 2017 on a strong note, releasing their Invitation EP, appearing on Live With Kelly & Ryan and NBC’s Today show and performing on iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball tour. They look to continue their run into 2018, announcing the bouncy new single “Trust Fund Baby” on Thursday (Feb. 1).

The Ed Sheeran-penned record is carried by a bellowing horn section, as the guys pour their flowy vocals in harmony. The group swings back and forth between blistering raps and slow swooning melodies on the track. “I don’t really want a trust fund baby, I like my women independent/ And I say to people that’s my lady, and we don’t need nothin’ else,” they croon in unison on the hook.

Why Don’t We are also embarking on their Invitation Tour, which begins in Cincinnati on Feb. 27 and will conclude April 25 in New Jersey. For more information, click here.
