Antonio scores FOUR as West Ham relegate Norwich, Watford edge closer to safety by coming from behind to beat Newcastle

Norwich’s return to the Premier League has come to an end after only one season as their relegation was confirmed on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 home defeat by West Ham.

Michail Antonio ran the limp Canaries ragged to bag FOUR times at Carrow Road, netting twice before half-time and grabbing the other two after the break.

It was all smiles for West Ham at Carrow Road

He opened the scoring with a close-range finish from a corner, and further exposed the hosts’ dreadful defending by heading home a free-kick for his second.

Antonio’s third came after he broke Norwich’s offside trap and finished on the second attempt after Tim Krul saved his initial shot, and his fourth was a neat flicked finish from Ryan Frederick’s cross.

The Carrow Road rout relegates Norwich, who return to the Championship just one season after being promoted from the second tier in scintillating style.

West Ham, meanwhile, move onto 34 points – and they are joined on that total by Watford, who came from behind to beat Newcastle in the other 12:30 kick-off.

Two Troy Deeney penalties fired the Hornets six points clear of the relegation places after Dwight Gayle tapped in from close range to hand the Magpies the lead at Vicarage Road.
