Headline inflation in the UK has fallen to 7.9% - down from May's figure of 8.7%.

This is a bigger drop than expected, with analysts forecasting a figure of 8.2% this month.

For the first time in a long time, there may be a glimmer of hope for those struggling through the cost of living crisis.
