Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is trying to convince Kai Havertz to move to Stamford Bridge this summer. Borussia Dortmund have already lined-up possible replacements for Jadon Sancho, should the English winger leave the club this summer. Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for the Three Lions star, but BVB’s €125m price tag could see him stay in Germany for now. This latest news could be seen as a boost for United, though, with sporting director Michael Zorc revealing Dortmund have already lined up several targets to sign should Sancho leave. (Kicker)

Meanwhile, it is claimed Ole Gunnar Solskjear has told United chiefs he wants to sign a right-sided forward this summer, reiterating that Sancho is his primary target. Chelsea and Leicester are in the running to sign Luka Jovic this summer, with Real Madrid listening to offers for the striker. The 22-year-old only joined the club last summer, and was touted as Europe’s next big things as he signed for  €60m. But he has bombed in Spain, managing just two goals in 25 appearances. Real have been so disappointed in the youngster that they’re ready to let him go already, but both Chelsea and Leicester are said to be keen on the younsger, no doubt hoping they can coax out the sort of form that saw Jovic score 36 goals during his loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt. With Jovic on his way out, Real Madrid are aiming to finally get a deal for Kylian Mbappe over the line, but will wait until 2021. The 21-year-old’s contract at PSG is set to expire in 2022, and Real have reportedly urged the player not to renew his deal, so they can swoop in next summer with a year to go and snap him up for a reduced fee. Arsenal have shelved their plans to sign a new goalkeeper this summer thanks to the recent form of Emiliano Martinez. The 27-year-old could even sign a new deal with the Gunners after impressive since standing in for injured Bernd Leno. Martinez was said to be considering his future at the Emirates as he wanted more first-team football, and the club were searching for another deputy. But he has conceded just two goals in five games since Leno’s injury, and he has recived praise from Mikel Arteta. “His attitude has been spot on,” said the boss. “He’s been very respectful, very patient and now that he has the opportunity, he’s grabbing it.” (Daily Mirror)

It appears Jeff Hendrick will miss out on his surprise dream move to AC Milan this summer and remain in England instead, due to coronavirus. The 28-year-old is a free agent after his contract at Burnley expired and he rejected a short-term deal. The Irishman was then linked wit ha surprise switch to the San Siro. But his international boss Stephen Kenny had said he’s now more likely to remain in England, with Newcastle one of the clubs interested. (The Sun)
