Sir Charles Bean, former deputy governor of the BoE, says that the bank will need to keep "squeezing" the economy until inflationary pressures are cooled.

Sir Charles says that "underlying inflation" is concerning, although he understands that people are anxious for salaries to increase to bolster their standard of living.
