Mexican band Café Tacvba, Chilean singer Mon Laferte and pop act Jesse & Joy are making their way this summer to the fifth edition of La Tocada Music Festival.

Presented by Live Nation and Frías Entertainment, the Aug. 4 event takes place at Los Angeles State Historic Park with a line-up that also includes Panteón Rococó, Molotov, Porter, Little Jesus, Caloncho and Camilo Séptimo.

“We couldn’t ask for a more exciting destination than the center of downtown Los Angeles,” said John Frías, CEO of Frías Entertainment and founder of La Tocada Music Festival. “We believe fans and artists will be in the heart of their element within this iconic music city.”

Two stages will feature the performs from Latin alternative, rock and pop artists at the newly renovated park, which is adjacent to Chinatown. Concert-goers can also check out lucha libre wrestlers complete with a ring, artwork from regional and local vendors, and specialty foods.

“It has grown to a successful outdoor festival of multicultural and enthusiastic rock fans,” said Emily Simonitsch, Sr. Vice President of Talent for Live Nation. Doors open at 2 p.m. For information and tickets, go to
