Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa admitted he DID send a spy to Derby County’s training ground before the game at Elland Road.

Police were called to the club’s training ground on Thursday after a man was seen acting suspiciously outside the premises.

However, before the game, the Argentinean told Sky Sports he took full responsibility for the suspect being there and admitted to employing this tactic throughout his career.

There was someone there,” he said. “I take full responsibility for him being there.

“It doesn’t matter if there is legal or illegal or right or wrong. For me it is enough that Frank Lampard and Derby County to think I did not behave well.

“Yesterday I talked to Frank Lampard and he told me I did not respect the fair play rules

“I have a different point of view on it, but the important thing is what Derby County and Lampard think of it.

“I’m the only one responsible for it because I did not ask for the permission of Leeds.

“Without trying to find a justification, I have been using this kind of practice since the qualifications for the World Cup with Argentina

“This is not illegal, we have been doing it publicly we talk about it in the press – for some people it is the wrong thing to do, but for some people it is not.”
