SA Police were called to Elm Road at Campbelltown about 1:20pm on Saturday after reports that gun shots were heard and two women were seen collapsed on the driveway of a home.
When patrols arrived, they found 51-year-old Aleksandra Vergulis dead at the scene and her daughter, 22-year-old Daniela Vergulis, with serious injuries.
The injured woman was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
