Angela Rayner faced deputy prime minister Oliver Dowden in the House of Commons for Prime Minister's Questions while PM Rishi Sunak visited Joe Biden in the US.

Rayner said a public accounts committee report this week says £21bn of taxpayers' money has been lost. Dowden in response said the government is trying to recover that money, and criticised the opposition by saying Britain 'cannot afford Labour'.
