Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made his first official visit to South Korea, with both countries pledging to strengthen trade and cultural ties while moving away from dependence on China.

Other key priorities on the trip’s agenda include the clean economy, climate change and the establishment of a youth mobility program.

Mackenzie Gray reports from Seoul, South Korea on Trudeau's time in the country ahead of the G7 leaders' summit in Japan.
