UFC star Conor McGregor calls out Floyd Mayweather opponent Tenshin Nasukawa for exhibition, kickboxer responds

Conor McGregor has bizarrely declared he wants to travel to Tokyo and fight Floyd Mayweather’s recent exhibition opponent, Tenshin Nasukawa.

The two-weight UFC champion posted a social media message on Monday morning, a week after his foe knocked out Nasukawa in under three minutes.

What’s notable about the event is that it garnered the American a reported $9million pay cheque for a contest that required relatively little effort.

This idea now appears to have grabbed McGregor’s attention.

“I wish to go to Tokyo to face Tenshin Nasukawa in a Mixed Martial Arts exhibition bout before this summer,” the Irishman stated.

“Please arrange this, this instant. Yours sincerely, the ‘champ champ.’”

The Japanese kickboxer then replied, insisting he had learned his lesson and would not be straying from his typical fighting conditions once again.

“Dear Mr McGregor,” Tenshin began, “Thank you very much for remembering my name.

“I’m honoured that you would even consider fighting me.

“58kg, kickboxing rules would probably get us in the ring sometime in the near future.”

Floyd Mayweather defeated Conor McGregor in a money-spinning crossover fight back in 2017.

The boxing legend stopped the MMA sensation in the tenth round after a hyped build-up in which they both display their overly extravagant personalities.

Their trash talk has continued, and this is simply the latest instalment from McGregor, who has previously stated his true goal would be a rematch with Mayweather.
