West Brom boss Slaven Bilic SENT off for animated protests over Kieran Gibbs red card at Everton

What an awful end to the first half for West Brom against Everton – a goal down, a player down and a manager down!

James Rodriguez’s first goal for the Toffees sparked a crazy chain of events that leaves the Baggies in an awful position going into the second half.

Moments after the Colombian scored, an angry exchange with Kieran Gibbs led to the defender pushing him in the face.

Referee Mike Dean set Gibbs off without a moment’s hesitation.

The half time whistle blew shortly after, with Slaven Bilic protesting in animated fashion at the man in the middle.

The Baggies boss can be heard telling Dean to ‘check the foul, check the red card’ – before being sent off himself!

Amazingly though, West Brom have rallied and have levelled the scores thanks to a wonderful free-kick by Mathueus Pereira.

West Brom really have it all to do in the second half, which you can listen to LIVE on talkSPORT now.
