WWE star Dean Ambrose reportedly went far off-script during segment with Seth Rollins on Monday Night Raw

Ambrose doesnt care

The Lunatic Fringe literally does not care at this point

WWE is losing one of its finest workers of the last decade when Dean Ambrose leaves the company after WrestleMania 35 in April.

The Lunatic Fringe is on the home straight of his WWE career – for now, anyway – and it’s clear by his booking on Monday Night Raw that the WWE doesn’t know what to do with him.

Dean Ambrose talks to Seth Rollins on RAW

Of course, on the same night that Roman Reigns revealed he had to step away from the wrestling business and battled leukemia, Ambrose won the tag team title with Seth Rollins before promptly betraying him and, eventually, taking the Intercontinental title from him.

The heel turn has failed to get anywhere near expectations in the months that followed and the WWE seemed to give up on Ambrose when they put the IC title on Bobby Lashley instead.

Since it was announced he will be departing the company, Ambrose has lost to EC3 and Rollins – both clean as whistles – and has been emasculated by Nia Jax, no less.

On Raw this week, Ambrose seemed to drop his heel act and wished Rollins well in his bid to dethrone Universal champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35.

He said: “I only got one thing to say to you: slay the Beast.”

However, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com has revealed he was meant to say a lot more.

“Originally he was supposed to explain like why he said ‘Slay the beast,’ but he didn’t. So he just said, ‘Slay the beast.’”

“You know it was one of those about it was the deal of whatever, we started together and blah blah the whole Shield thing and Roman Reigns and all that which makes all the sense in the world considering the turn and everything. I just gotta say that Dean Ambrose turn, in hindsight, the heel turn it sure was a flop, wasn’t it?”

It explains quite a lot. Rollins looks at Ambrose like he is expecting more when Ambrose starts talking and when Ambrose decides to take a seat outside of the ring, Rollins simply cracks a wide smile and exits himself.

Ambrose has faced Lesnar himself at the WWE’s showcase event back at WrestleMania 32 where he lost a No Holds Barred match. The former WWE champion has since gone on record saying that he found Lesnar difficult to work with.
