A pair of Southeast Asian Games swimming records fell on the third day of action in the pool Monday in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Singapore's men’s 4x100m medley relay team of Teong Tzen Wei, Jonathan Tan, Nicholas Mahabir, and Quah Zheng Wen won gold in a new SEA Games record time of 3:37.45.

In the women's 200-meter backstroke, Xiandi Chua of the Philippines broke the SEA Games record with a time of 2:13.20, beating the old mark set by Vietnam's Nguyễn Thị Ánh Viên (2:13.64) at 2017 games in Kuala Lumpur.
