17-year-old driver killed in collision with truck in South East Victoria | ABC News

A crash between a truck and a car south of Melbourne has left a 17-year-old boy dead. Both vehicles were travelling on the South Gippsland Freeway at Devon Meadows just before 10pm Monday night. The boy was the only person in the car at the time. The truck driver has been taken to hospital and will be questioned by police. Detective Sergeant Roslyn Wilson from Victoria Police says the investigation is still in its early stages, however it appears that the truck attempted a turn in the middle of the intersection at Devon Road resulting in the collision.
