In 1965, journalist Alex Haley sat down for an extensive interview with Martin Luther King Jr. in which King seems to criticize Malcolm X. King is quoted as accusing Malcolm X of inciting violence with “fiery demagogue oratory in the black ghettos.” The problem is, it appears King never actually said that.
