Darren Jones MP told Sky News Labour wants to hear "a plan that's going to fix the last 13 years of Conservative failure".

Asked what that would look like, he quipped: "Well it looks like a Labour government."

More substantively, Mr Jones welcomed the news that a 1% cut to national insurance could be announced, but added that people are paying vast amounts in taxes already.
