As the recovery operation and investigation continues, the Port of Baltimore will be shut until further notice, with the US Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg warning of potential for a "major and protracted impact to supply chains".

US President Joe Biden has vowed to "move heaven and earth" to reopen "one of the nation's largest shipping hubs", which experts say could cost over $600m (£474m).
