Concluding the U.K. portion of his five-day visit to Europe on Monday, U.S. President Joe Biden travelled to Windsor Castle to meet with King Charles, for the first time since he ascended the British throne.

Biden and King Charles reportedly spoke on the issue of tackling climate change — a shared interest of theirs.

The Royal visit was Biden’s second-ever, since taking office in 2021.

Earlier Monday, Biden met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak regarding the ongoing war in Ukraine. The meeting comes ahead of his travels to Lithuania for the July NATO summit, which will commence on Tuesday.

Biden is among several world leaders who will congregate for three days to discuss the Russia-Ukraine war further.
