On Monday, fighting erupted in Russia's Belgorod region - on the border with Ukraine.

Moscow said 70 armed insurgents who crossed the border from Ukraine have been killed.

Kyiv has denied any involvement, while two pro-Ukraine militant groups calling themselves the "Russian Volunteer Corps" and the "Freedom of Russia Legion" said they were behind the incursions.
