A man has been found guilty of the murder of a seven-year-old girl more than 30 years ago in Sunderland.

Newcastle Crown Court was previously told Nikki Allan was lured by David Boyd, then 25, to a derelict building near her home where he beat her with a brick before stabbing her 37 times through the heart in October 1992.
