Nearly 900 wildfires are burning across Canada, and 10 million hectares of land, an area larger than New Brunswick, has burned so far in 2023.

Unusually hot and dry conditions across the country contributed to an early to this year’s fire season, and it’s showing no sign of slowing down.

Global's Mike Armstrong looks at the record-setting Canadian wildfire season and the support being sent to B.C, which is now the hardest-hit province.
