More than one-third of Canadians say they consider themselves financially stressed amid inflation, interest rates, and the high cost of living.
The data comes from a recent survey by the National Payroll Institute, which found among this group of Canadians, 66 per cent are living paycheque-to-paycheque with half feeling overwhelmed by their debt.
Sean Previl spoke with finance experts to get their perspective on what people can do to tackle that debt and hopefully ease some of that stress.
