Carberry bus crash: Manitoba proposes safety improvements to highway intersection

The Manitoba government is committing $12 million to improve an intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway near Carberry, where 17 people were killed in a bus crash in June 2023.

The province’s RCMP says the investigation into the cause of the tragedy is still ongoing.

Marney Blunt explains what is being proposed to make the crossing safer, when those changes could be ready and how one family member of a victim is reacting.
