Flash floods have hit the southern Russian town of Nebug after heavy rain throughout the region.

Footage taken by an eyewitness shows cars being carried along residential streets by flood waters. Flooding has caused some damage to properties and hundreds of people are said to have been evacuated but no immediate casualties have been reported. There have been catastrophic floods around the world throughout July, triggering warnings that the climate crisis is intensifying.
