China’s carmakers are mulling producing cars in Germany, which is home to Europe's biggest auto industry. Chinese auto giant BYD, the world's largest electric vehicle manufacturer, is reportedly in talks with Ford about buying its plant in southwestern Germany. Anchor Chiponda Chimbelu speaks with MERICS analyst Gregor Sebastian about why Chinese automakers want to come to produce in Germany.
