Kay Burley puts it to Jeremy Hunt that he is spending all the fiscal headroom available to leave any potential new government with no money to spend.

Mr Hunt says: "What I will say about the next election is that there is going to be a very clear choice as a result of the decisions that I made yesterday, but also Labour's response."

He says the Tory argument is that the only way to raise living standards is to help businesses and grow the economy, and claims Labour wants to boost demand by borrowing more money.
