A bear in Colorado had to be freed by wildlife officers after it opened the doors of a pickup truck to eat some dog food that had been left in the unlocked vehicle.

The bear had opened the doors of the pick-up after smelling the food inside but became trapped.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife has warned residents not to leave food inside their cars to avoid this happening.
