Catherine Calderwood, the former chief medical officer for Scotland between 2015 and 2020 will provide evidence at the UK Covid-19 Inquiry. She will be attending remotely.

The UK Covid-19 Inquiry has been set up to examine the UK's response to and impact of the pandemic. Also providing evidence today is Professor Jim McManus, President of the Association of Directors of Public Health, and Kevin Fenton, President of the UK Faculty of Public Health.

From 2pm, Mark Woolhouse, Professor of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the University of Edinburgh will also be in attendance.
