EU and Latin American Mercosur bloc struggle to reach a trade deal

The EU and countries of the Latin American Mercosur bloc have been working hard to finalise a trade deal. But leaders from the EU and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States could not bridge their differences over an environmental spat with Brazil and Argentina and also how to tackle Russia's war in Ukraine.

We speak to DW correspondent Lucia Schulten and Christopher Sabatini – Senior Research Fellow for Latin America, US and the Americas at Chatham House.
