Despite a nearly day-long trip from South Africa, approximately 200 firefighters broke out into song and dance as they arrived at Edmonton International Airport on Thursday to help fight the ongoing wildfires burning across Alberta.

It's a tradition the Working on Fire crews repeat each morning before fighting fires across the world.

The government-funded organization is focused primarily on firefighting management and have made several trips to the Canadian province in the last decade, including during the harrowing Fort McMurray wildfire crisis in 2016.
