The high school in Arras, France where a teacher was fatally stabbed on Oct. 13 was evacuated Monday morning in response to a bomb threat.

Despite all classes being cancelled on Monday, the doors to Lycee Gambetta were left open so that students could pay tribute and lay flowers for their fallen teacher, Dominique Bernard.

Bernard was killed in an attack by a 20-year-old man as a “jihadist atmosphere” had developed according to Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin in the wake of the brutal Hamas terrorist attack on Israel on Oct. 7.

French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the attack as "barbaric Islamic terrorism."

Since Friday’s attack, the government has kept France on its highest security alert.
