People in Gaza lined up on Friday outside a United Nations Development Programme water station, eager to fill up canisters and bottles with fresh water. Supplies of food, water, medicines and fuel have been running critically low for Gaza's 2.3 million population since Israel began its bombardment and 'total siege' of the enclave. While there have been some limited deliveries of food, water and medicine, Israel has insisted it will not allow fuel in, arguing that Hamas had stolen fuel from the UN to use for military purposes.
