In tonight's top story: A frantic search is underway for four people after two vehicles were submerged in floodwaters after parts of Nova Scotia were thrashed with heavy rainfall. Two of those missing are children. There's also significant damage to roads and infrastructure. Sean O'Shea and Vanessa Wright have that story.

To the war in Ukraine, where Kyiv launched a drone strike at an ammunition deport in Russian-occupied Crimea. Civilians were forced to flee and traffic was stopped on the Kerch Bridge, which is a vital supply route for Moscow. As Mackenzie Gray reports, it's the latest attack since Russia suspended a major grain deal with Ukraine earlier this week.

An up-and-coming health care app is lifting off as it helps connect patients with doctors in quicker, more accessible ways, providing home visits or consultations either over the phone, or via video call. "Medworks" gives patients access to a wide scope of specialists right off the bat, as opposed to just a family doctor, who would need to give a referral. This includes dieticians, paramedics, dermatologists and beyond. Katherine Ward reports.

Plus, it's estimated more than 55 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia, and that's expected to double every 20 years. This is why many across the country are developing new models of care that ensure people are given the dignity they deserve. And there's a new trend in the oceans this summer that may be worrying some boaters. In recent weeks, there have been several reports of orcas going after boats, and in some cases, sinking them. This has left people wondering whether this is the dawn of a killer whale uprising, or simply orcas playing their newest game. Mike Armstrong explains.
