As excitement builds on the eve of the coronation of King Charles III, some Canadians are pumped to be participating in the procession. Crystal Goomansingh met with some of them in Surrey, England as they prepare for the historic moment, and looks at some of the notable Canadian figures who will be attending the coronation.

Plus, Dawna Friesen speaks with Royal commentator Dickie Arbiter's about the challenges facing the king, and what the monarchy needs to survive.

And Melissa Ridgen looks at the optimism among some Indigenous leaders for the opportunity to reset their relationship with the Royals, now that Charles is in charge.

As Ottawa summons Cong Peiwu, China's ambassador to Canada, over allegations of foreign interference, Conservative MP Michael Chong is contradicting earlier comments by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Chong now says CSIS told the Privy Council Office about China's alleged plot to intimidate him two years ago, yet nothing was done. David Akin reports.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC)'s Union of Taxation Employees (UTE), which represents Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) employees, has reached a tentative deal with the federal government, ending the strike of 35,000 workers.
