Play-by-play broadcasting legend Bob Cole, whose voice was the soundtrack to some of the most memorable moments in hockey history, has died at the age of 90.

He died Wednesday night in St. John’s, N.L., surrounded by his family.

Mackenzie Gray looks at Cole's love for the game, and how fans and players loved him right back.
