'How many is too many?': EU foreign policy chief urges action on Gaza amid high casualties

The EU foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, has asked how many Palestinians need to be killed before the fighting in Gaza stops.

Borrell was speaking at a meeting of European foreign ministers in Brussels at which several Middle Eastern foreign ministers were also in attendance. 'The humanitarian situation [in Gaza] could not be worse,' said Borrell, warning about mounting casualties in Gaza, before he asked 'how many is "too many?" What does it mean “too many”? [Is] too many 25,000 people? For how long is this going to continue?'
