Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has explained more about his announcement that involves squeezing benefits while raising the national living wage.

Mr Hunt also denied assertions he is seeking to make cuts to the public sector, saying he's a "passionate believer in public services".

On HS2, he refused to say if a decision has been made, saying: "In terms of the official decision, you'll have to wait."
