U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is making diplomatic visits to Middle Eastern countries for the fourth time since Israel’s war on Hamas began, as Israel faces increased pressure to scale back its assault on Gaza.

More than 23,000 people have been killed in Gaza since Oct. 7, according to the Hamas-ran Gaza Health Ministry.
