The draft of a new grocery code of conduct meant to protect Canadian shoppers from industry forces that drive up prices is raising alarm with the grocery giant Loblaw. The company's CFO Richard Dufresne says the new code will raise prices for Canadians by more than $1 billion and 'disrupt the ability of grocers to meet consumer demands.'
