Jason Craik, a Vancouver-based commuter described to Global News his experience aboard the Helijet which was struck by lightning at a 4,000 ft elevation on Tuesday. Before expressing his gratitude to have landed safely and still be alive, Craik said there was a “massive boom” and a “giant flash” in the moment.
