Curious, playful and mischievous lion cubs drew crowds at the Safari Zoo Lahore in Lahore, Pakistan on Thursday.
According to the Safari Zoo Lahore deputy director, Ghulam Rasool, the birth of the cubs, between two- and three-and-a-half-months-old, has brought the number of lions in the zoo to 40. These six lively cubs in particular were born to two of the attraction's lionesses.
Rasool added that of the 242 acres owned by the zoo, 30 acres are allotted "for the lions to roam freely in their natural habitat.”
“People are very eager to see the cubs," said zoo caretaker Mohammad Asif. "As you can see, children are especially very excited to see the cubs. Entire families are coming, and they keep coming again and again.”
