The New South Wales government's ban on smartphones in public high schools comes into effect today as students start term four.
Under the ban, students won't be allowed to use their smartphones during class, recess, and lunch times.
Over 400 schools, and more than 320 thousand students will be subject to the new policy, which follows similar bans in other states around the country.
