The Hamlet of Fort McPherson, Northwest Territories, declared a state of emergency because of flooding. In a post on Facebook, the town said the state of emergency was declared because flooding from the Peel River cut off access to the community's airport and access to fresh water could be 'inaccessible in the imminent future.'
