Oakland University made headlines earlier this year by knocking off blueblood Kentucky in the NCAA Men's basketball tournament. It was truly magical March Madness and a historical moment for the school.

Unknowingly to most viewers in March Oakland has already solidified its golf courses as bluebloods in the Great Lake state. Both the Katke Cousins and R&S Sharf golf courses play host to major Michigan Golf tournaments and offer elite private club experiences to Rochester Residents and Oakland Students.

Finishing up my MBA we were lucky enough to have access to the courses so we played them for our 11th and 13th stops on our journey to play...
