Liberal Party of Ontario Leader John Fraser on Tuesday accused the provincial government of corrupt practices in giving away land worth $8.3 billion in Ontario's environmentally-protected Greenbelt.
Speaking to reporters at Queen's Park in Toronto, Fraser said the Premier must return any land taken from the Greenbelt for development, and "open the books" to a full and impartial investigation.
Fraser said that Ontario Premier Doug Ford's proposed land review was "irrelevant” and Ford should waive Cabinet privilege for an open and transparent discussion on the matter.
