Seals among species that live longer in captivity, study finds

New research suggests that four marine mammal species — harbour seals, California sea lions, bottlenose dolphins and polar bears — actually live longer in captivity than they do in the wild, and that their longevity in zoos in aquariums has grown more than threefold in the last two centuries.
